Kenneth Aguilar (shown at left
with Angie Crespin) is from the Santo Domingo Pueblo in North
Central New Mexico. He's been making Native American jewelry in the
Pueblo style for over twenty-five years. Kenneth learned jewelry
making from his father. He attended the Institute of American
Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Kenneth works in many
stones and materials, such as Gaspeite, Lapis, Coral, Sugulite,
Opal, Turquoise, and other items found in his native New
Mexico.
Please check
back this summer, when we hope to have pictures available of Kenneth
Aguilar's work at the Robert Dean Collection |
