Cody Sanderson was raised in
Window Rock, Arizona and is of Dine, Hopi and Nambe descent. He has
been working with jewelry since 1999.
He prefers working in
sterling silver and 18-karat gold, but also uses aluminum, copper,
stainless steel, and some 14-karat gold.
His work has been described
as original and inventive, while remaining true to tradition.
Fabrication includes many different aspects of metalworking,
including bending, casting, forging, fusing, hammering and
stamping.
Please check
back this summer, when we hope to have pictures available of Cody
Sanderson's work at the Robert Dean Collection |
