Artie Yellowhorse is a Navajo of the “Kee a a ono” ( “Towering House”) clan. The influences of that culture can easily be seen in her beautiful, wearable art

Artie is a third generation silversmith, having been learned from her mother and grandmother, both of whom were renowned weavers.

She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico where her Desiree and Lei Lani work along side her.

Please check back this summer, when we hope to have pictures available of Artie Yellowhorse's work at the Robert Dean Collection
